Yesterday awaits you at the qathet Museum & Archives. The qMA speaks to the history of Powell River and the qathet Regional District through historic objects and archival records. Wander through a variety of exhibits showcasing historic basketry and artifacts belonging to the Tla’amin Nation, as well as historic objects and tools from the 20th century. Featuring collections from the maritime, papermaking, homesteading and logging history of the region. The qMA also holds an extensive collection of resources available to assist researchers and genealogists; including collections and photographs from individuals, businesses, and organizations that make up the history of the region.
